Requirements & Design
We start by learning how the work actually happens today, including the spreadsheet someone maintains by hand and the step that only one person knows. That comes out as wireframes and mockups you can react to, because it is far cheaper to change a drawing than a build.

Architecture
We decide what gets built, what gets connected, and what should not exist at all. Most businesses already pay for tools that do part of the job, so the question is usually which pieces to wire together rather than what to write from scratch. This is a judgment call and a person makes it.

Development
AI writes a lot of the code now, and that changed the pace rather than the standard. Scaffolding, boilerplate, migrations and test coverage take a fraction of the hours they used to, which leaves more time on the parts that are actually specific to your business. Every change is still reviewed by the developer whose name is on it, and we demo working pieces as they land instead of going quiet.

Quality Assurance (QA)
We test against the requirements on real devices and browsers. What is staff augmentation?
When you contract with a third party to fulfill a task instead of hiring an individual, that’s Staff Augmentation! Caffeine Interactive has successfully helped multiple companies in a crunch when their hiring was not producing the candidates (nor the quality of work) they needed.
How big is the augmentation team?
Most engagements are one to three people, scaled to the work rather than to a minimum contract. We would rather put two people who fit on your project than five who pad the invoice, and the number can move as the project does.
What does staff augmentation cost?
Staff augmentation is billed on a monthly rate per person, set by role and seniority. It is usually less than the loaded cost of an equivalent hire once recruiting, benefits and ramp-up are counted, and considerably faster to start and to stop.
