Brixbid is an online apartment auction site where landlords can list available rental properties and renters can bid what they are willing to pay.

The Challenge

Caffeine was tasked with auditing, updating, enhancing, and fixing the core features of the Brixbid application.

The Solution

  • Integrated with SmartMove/TransUnion for credit checks, Yardi/Rent Cafe and YouGotListings.com for importing properties, DocuSign for leasing content and sign off, and a suite of Google products to define and market to neighborhoods .
  • Refined the bid process to allow for bids lower than the suggested opening bid, a Rent Now price to close an auction, and automatic bidding based on max bid value entered by a renter.
  • Created and documented an API to accommodate SEO and PPC marketing.
  • Fixed numerous bugs including performance, usability, functional, and OS compatibility.
